there has been some comment on the latest rc proceedings on that well know jw friendly site.. one set of posts has been particularly interesting as the poster related their own experience as an abuse victim when they were a child in the congregation.

this of course took courage and the poster deserves no criticism at all for this.

he doesnt know TTAT, so is still drinking the koolaid. When you believe it is big Js organisation and that anything that isnt right with it is because of mens imperfections then that leaves you little room to really question anything rationally.

the restraint shown by the judge and lawyer is breath-taking.

i'm sure they would like to pummel these idiots with a sledge-hammer, but they choose words instead.

Whenever he strings a sentence together of more than 10 words he sits back and looks smug at the achievement, so i get the impression he thinks he did quite well.

They likely think that hearing the name Jehovah mentioned by a worldly is a great witness with double bonus points whenever the judge does it.

AUSTRALIA - All large JW Regional Conventions cancelled for 2015

now we know why the governing body of jehovah's witnesses cancelled all the major regional conventions of jehovah's witnesses for 2015 and are only holding smaller conventions at the jw assembly halls.

interestingly the first round of regional conventions are due this weekend in the jw assembly halls in sydney (new south wales), melbourne (victoria), and brisbane (queensland).

Horley Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses UK (disbanded)

does anyone in the uk know any details about the above congregation?

it seems it was disbanded by the co specifically because of "lack of love" and members reassigned to other congregations in the reigate and crawley areas.. i've checked the charities commission web site and the charity was removed in may 2012.. http://apps.charitycommission.gov.uk/showcharity/registerofcharities/removedcharitymain.aspx?registeredcharitynumber=1066699&subsidiarynumber=0.

Yep short and tubby, i can picture the Rossiter guy but cant remember his name..
